David is a veteran of the acoustic and audio technology industry, having founded acoustic and audio consultancy Allegro Acoustics and audio brand ONESONIC. A chartered engineer and musician, David holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway and a Master’s Degree in Applied Acoustics from the University of Surrey.
Having spent the earlier years in the studio as a signed recording artist, David brings a rare combination of creative sensitivity and technical rigour. Over the past twenty years, David has completed approximately 500 design projects in the acoustic and audio space, bringing numerous products to the international consumer audio market.

The audio testing facility at ONESONIC Audio Technologies is powered by Listen Inc. audio testing hardware and software, coupled primarily with GRAS audio measurement systems. All hardware is calibrated to IEC 61318, allowing Class 1 precision testing.
